Dear Industry Colleague,
On behalf of the newly formed Nova Scotia Motion Picture Industry Association, we would like to extend an invitation to you to join NSMPIA in promoting the film, television and new media industries of Nova Scotia. We believe a membership-driven industry association is long overdue. We believe that the long-term health of our industry can be significantly enhanced with a strong and effective industry association.
There are a number of issues the Association intends to address over the coming months, but our first order of business is to lobby the provincial government for enhancements to the film industry tax credit that would level the playing field with other regions.
We look forward to your participation in both the tax credit enhancement campaign and the industry association.
